GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
and CUSTOMER INFORMATION REGARDING TICKET PURCHASES
Budapest Varieté advises its customers to carefully read these General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) prior to purchasing tickets, and to purchase tickets for the event only if they have familiarized themselves with the terms and conditions set forth in this document, understand them, and accept them as binding upon themselves.
These General Terms and Conditions also include the mandatory pre-contractual information required under Section 11(1) of Government Decree No. 45/2014 (II. 26.) on the detailed rules governing contracts between consumers and businesses.

3. Scope of the General Terms and Conditions and Formation of the Contract
Budapest Varieté Kft. organizes Budapest Varieté events on its own and sells tickets for these events through its own online ticketing system.
The contract between the customer and the service provider is concluded when the customer clicks the “Payment” button during the ticket purchase process.
Language of the contract: Hungarian.
The contract is concluded for a fixed term and remains in effect until the date of the event.
The service provider reserves the right to amend the General Terms and Conditions. The service provider will notify customers of any amendments via its website.
4. How to Purchase Tickets
On the website, customers can find information about performances, ticket categories, dates, and prices.
During the purchase, the customer selects:

the ticket category

the number of tickets
When purchasing a ticket, the customer does not select a specific table or seat.
Seating and table assignments will be made by the organizer, taking into account the seating arrangements for guests who are having dinner and those who are not.
The service provider reserves the right to change the seating arrangement and table layout if required for the smooth running of the event, for technical reasons, or to accommodate guests.
Due to the nature of the event, guests who purchase dinner tickets may be seated at shared tables; therefore, the service provider cannot guarantee that a specific table will be reserved exclusively for a single group.
When purchasing a ticket, customers can also choose a dinner option. There are 3 different dinner options to choose from.
When purchasing group dinner tickets, you have the option to purchase an all-you-can-drink package.
The beverage package is available only for group reservations of 4, 6, or 8 people.
The beverage package cannot be purchased for groups of fewer than 4 people.
The beverage package is a service provided for the specified number of guests and is available throughout the duration of the event. The price of the beverage package is payable regardless of actual consumption; no refunds will be issued for any portion of the package that remains unused.
5. Using the shopping cart

The system usage fee is listed separately in the shopping cart.
By clicking the "Pay" button, the customer is obligated to pay.
6. Ticket Prices and Payment Methods
The customer pays the amount shown in the shopping cart, which may include:

the ticket price

the cost of dinner

the price of the drink package
-
the system usage fee
The service provider does not charge any additional processing fees.

Credit card payments are processed through the Barion Payment Zrt. system.
7. Ticket Delivery
After a successful purchase, the customer will receive the ticket in PDF format (e-ticket) via email.
You must present your ticket in printed or digital form upon arrival at the event.
The service provider shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the loss, theft, or unauthorized use of the ticket.
8. Ticket Purchase Confirmation
The system sends a confirmation email to the customer regarding the purchase.
If you do not receive a confirmation within 48 hours, please contact customer service.
9. Billing
The invoice is issued by Billingo Technologies Zrt.'s online billing system.
The invoice will be sent to the customer in electronic form.
10. Data Transfer
The customer acknowledges that the information required for the purchase may be shared for the purpose of fulfilling the service:

11. Cancellation
Pursuant to Government Decree No. 45/2014 (II.26.), the consumer does not have the right of withdrawal if the service relates to a leisure event scheduled for a specific date.
Therefore, purchased tickets are non-refundable, except in the event that the performance is canceled.
12. Cancelled or Postponed shows
If the performance is canceled, the ticket price will be refunded within 14 days.
If the show cannot take place due to force majeure or other extraordinary circumstances, the organizer reserves the right to reschedule the performance for a later date.
The provider reserves the right to change the programming.
13. Complaint Handling
Customers can submit their complaints through the service provider’s contact information.
The service provider will investigate complaints within 30 days.
14. Data Processing
The service provider processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR and applicable Hungarian laws.
The purpose of data processing is, in particular:

15. Dinner Service
Catering for the event will be provided by Budapest Party Service, an external catering company.
Budapest Party Service is responsible for the preparation, quality, and service of the dinners.
Budapest Varieté Kft. offers dinner service as an outsourced service.
The catering service reserves the right, where justified, to substitute individual dishes with alternatives of equivalent value.
16. Photos and videos
Guests are permitted to take photos and videos for their own personal use at the event, provided that this does not disrupt the performance, interfere with the artists’ work, or disturb other guests.
At the event, the organizer or persons acting on the organizer’s behalf may take photographs and record video footage of the event, the audience, and the performance.
By participating in the event, guests acknowledge that they may be captured in group photos or candid shots. Budapest Varieté Performing Arts and Event Management Ltd. is entitled to use such recordings, particularly for marketing and promotional purposes, to promote the event, for display on its website and social media, and for use in press materials.
When taking and using photographs, the organizer will comply with applicable data protection laws.
17. Late Arrivals
Customers will be informed of the exact start time of the event when purchasing their tickets and in the confirmation email.
To ensure smooth service for guests and the proper conduct of the event, the organizer recommends that guests arrive at least 30 minutes before the event begins.
Admission for guests arriving after the event has begun will be granted at the organizer’s discretion, taking into account the progress of the performance and the availability of seating.
For guests arriving late, it may not be possible to provide the originally reserved seats, and the organizer will assign seats based on available seating.
The service provider assumes no liability for any inconvenience resulting from late arrival or for the partial use of the service, and such circumstances do not entitle the customer to a ticket exchange or a refund of the ticket price.
19. Other Provisions
The website operates over a secure HTTPS connection.
The service provider is not liable for any issues arising from the customer’s internet connection or technical equipment.
In matters not covered by these General Terms and Conditions, Hungarian law shall apply.
