Sebastian Richter and Krisztina Eötvös have been working with great success in the domestic and international entertainment industry for many years—both as circus and stage performers, as show managers, and as a business designing and producing performance costumes.
The founders of Budapest Varieté, who brought the finest performers of the international variety genre to Hungary with tremendous success.
A dinner show was organized at the Spirit Hotel in Hévíz, marking the launch of this new genre—a combination of gastronomy and entertainment—in Hungary as well.
They organize events and dinner shows at a professional level, drawing on their international network and their own professional experience.
Designing Stage Costumes - Krisztina Eötvös
The costumes worn by the performers are a very important element of the Budapest Varieté shows.
This plays a very important role for both dancers and performing artists. Krisztina pays close attention to the selection of performance costumes to ensure they look their best on stage. It is important that the costumes match the appropriate music and style.
Costume Design Plans has been in business for five years, creating custom-designed costumes for international performers and competitive dancers.
The performance costumes we have designed have been featured on multiple occasions at the Monte Carlo Circus Festival and at prestigious dance competitions, where the performers wearing them have won awards. So our costumes are not only beautiful, but they also bring success! (Krisztina Eötvös)
Lighting Design - Szebasztián Richter
Sebastian not only directs the show, but also designs the lighting for the performances himself.
He strives to make everything as beautiful as possible and get the most out of the lighting technology at hand, so he can provide the best possible visuals for the performances. After all, good lighting and carefully selected music account for 50% of a performance’s success!

Our own performances – international practice
With their lightning-fast costume-change act, they toured the world, performing on ocean liners, in variety theaters, in large-scale shows, at dinner shows, in circuses, in musicals, and more… in Europe, Asia, the United States, and Australia.
They performed on the Ms Europa, a 5-star luxury cruise ship, where they appeared before the audience as part of the Roncalli Circus show.
During our travels, we’ve gained a wealth of experience regarding the variety of performances available around the world. We’ve managed to build numerous international connections with artists from around the world, all of whom would love to come and perform in Hungary.
We learn a great deal from the various performances; we see the different staging techniques used in variety shows and other entertainment programs, as well as the transitions and technical solutions employed in top-tier entertainment.
They regularly travel abroad to attend international performances in order to build even more connections with foreign artists. They draw inspiration and ideas from various performances, which they apply not only when organizing Budapest Varieté shows, but also for any other event.
Humor plays a particularly important role in their performances, as a good laugh and the chance to relax and have fun are essential for the audience to truly unwind. “A day without laughter is a day wasted,” says Charlie Chaplin.
We strive to devote as much time and energy as possible to our Budapest Variety and Dinner Show performances so that we can offer our audience the best possible entertainment and visual experience.
To us, life is a huge stage, and we only get one performance—so let’s make it the best one!
